Episode 184 – Directing Traffic To The Jeonbuk Dugout

Everyone’s favourite K-League podcast returns after a well-deserved International break as Mark and Paul descend on 48 Shades Towers to discuss the main stories hitting the K-League this week. High on the agenda are the recent rumours surrounding the soon-to-be vacant Manager’s job at ‘two-in-a-row’ Champions Jeonbuk as Choi gets his suitcase ready for the short trip (in more ways than one probably) to China. There have been several names mentioned in the press but the name that has provoked the most reaction online is probably that of Jose Morais, the one-time assistant to Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese has been involved, in one way or another, as a coach at no less than 20 twenty clubs since 1999 which is almost as many clubs as an ex-podcast host frequented on one of his legendary weekends “supporting” E-Land. Whether or not Jose makes the move to Korea will be revealed soon but it does say a lot, surely, about the stature of the league when the biggest club is being linked with managers that need Wikipedia for us to know who they are!
